Masino: Fairy-tale Flights
An experience combining history, adventure, and fine food & wine (3:30–10:30 PM). Starting with a visit to the romantic park of Masino Castle, a FAI property of the Valperga family featuring one of Italy's largest mazes. Followed by a hot-air balloon flight (~30 m) with an incomparable view of the Morainic Amphitheatre of Ivrea during foliage season. The day concludes with a private Erbaluce tasting led by a sommelier at an 18th-century Valperga family vineyard, followed by dinner with local products. In case of bad weather, the flight is replaced with birdwatching at Lake Viverone.
