Pronto Tours organises them in Sicily as a local DMC, covering venue selection, technical services, catering including certified kosher, transfers and on-site coordination. Between 2023 and 2025 we delivered corporate events for up to 400 participants.

What organising a MICE event involves
A corporate event is a logistical project before it is a creative one. We handle venue selection and contracting, staging and audio-visual services, simultaneous interpreting, catering, airport transfers and on-site coordination for the full duration of the event.
We act as a single interlocutor: the client does not have to manage twenty different suppliers in a territory they do not know. Every supplier reports to us, and we report to the client. For large-format events we always prepare a fallback plan for outdoor activities, because Sicilian weather is generous but is not a contractual guarantee.
Venues for corporate events in Sicily
The island offers a range of locations that is hard to match. We have worked with historic residences such as Palazzo Biscari in Catania, the city's most important private Baroque palace, with castles such as Castello Pupillo, with country estates such as Tenuta del Gelso and Villa Ispica, and with seafront venues such as Tao Beach in Taormina.
Alongside these, Sicily offers five-star hotels with meeting facilities, coastal resorts equipped for conventions and modern conference centres in Palermo and Catania. Venue selection never starts from a catalogue but from the format of the event: participant numbers, technical requirements, service flows and distance from the airports.
Scientific congresses and international conventions
In 2025 we handled the logistics for SIMPAR, the International Conference on Simulation, Modeling and Programming for Autonomous Robots, hosted at the CNR Research Area in Palermo and organised by CNR ICAR. Five days of proceedings, around one hundred international researchers in robotics and artificial intelligence, with airport transfers, accommodation, catering, gala dinner and a social programme for delegates.
A scientific congress has different requirements from a corporate event: parallel sessions, speakers arriving from different time zones, materials and badges, rigid timings. Having delivered one for a national research institution is the most concrete credential we can offer on this format.
International delegations and special requirements
A significant share of our work involves overseas delegations with particular requirements: guides and staff working in the group's language, strict dietary restrictions, split programmes for groups that travel together but divide across activities, and coordination with client contacts in another time zone.
The most demanding case we handle regularly is that of observant Jewish communities: events with hundreds of participants, certified mehadrin kosher catering and continuous mashgiach supervision, without giving up exclusive venues. Why hold a corporate event in Sicily
Sicily combines three things that rarely coexist: cultural and natural heritage that works as a motivational lever, an operating season that covers the whole year with its strongest window from March to June and September to November, and accommodation costs below those of Northern European MICE destinations at an equivalent level of service.
In terms of access, the island has two international airports, Palermo and Catania, with direct flights from the main European capitals. For an event drawing participants from several countries this shortens transfer times and simplifies the management of staggered arrivals.

These are not adapted menus: this is genuine kosher cuisine, with the constant supervision of a mashgiach (certified kosher supervisor), traceable ingredients, a dedicated kitchen brigade, and full separation of utensils and workflows. The same level of care we apply to every detail of our events.

Both. A significant part of our work is as a DMC for agencies, tour operators and event planners in Italy and abroad who already have the client and need a local partner for ground delivery.
