This tour was born from the desire to offer visitors an authentic and engaging experience, which intertwines the history of the Canavese lands between nature and local traditions.
The itinerary offers unique experiences, far from the most crowded tourist circuits, where each stop of the route has been designed to share hidden corners and evocative stories of one of the territories with the richest cultural heritage in all of Piedmont.
The Itinerary

Castello di Agliè
Day 1 — Agliè and San Giorgio
First stop: Agliè Castle. A seven-century-long history, which has seen the passage of dukes, princes and kings. Guided tour of the castle and stop at a local shop to taste torcetti, traditional biscuits. In the afternoon, visit the Nòssi Ràis Museum, which illustrates the life and agricultural and artisanal activities of the past in San Giorgio.

Miniera di Traversella
Day 2 — Traversella and Valchiusella
A day dedicated to a journey that blends history and nature. In the morning, visit to the Ecomuseo Mineralogico of the ancient Miniera of Traversella, where the silence of the galleries tells the story of centuries of work in the Canavese mining tradition. The afternoon continues with an immersive sensory journey through the aromas and flavors of Valchiusella with a local wine and cheese tasting.

Ceresole Reale
Day 3 — Ceresole Reale and Valle Orco
Ceresole Reale is an Alpine Pearl immersed in the nature of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the kingdom of chamois, foxes, eagles, marmots and ibex. Ideal for sportsmen in all seasons: trekking, cross-country skiing, cycle paths or even a panoramic walk around the lake. In the afternoon visit Sparone, the Fucina dei Mestoli Ecomuseum and stop at the PNGP Visitor Center between Locana and Valle Orco.

Day 4 — Castellamonte and Vineyards
Castellamonte is renowned for its centuries-old tradition of artistic pottery. An exclusive, immersive experience in a traditional workshop, where master artisans demonstrate their craft from start to finish, followed by a curated tour of a private ceramic collection. In the afternoon, a local winery visit to explore the secrets of the renowned Erbaluce wine.

Ivrea Olivetti architecture
Day 5 — UNESCO Ivrea
Itinerary to discover the UNESCO heritage of Ivrea: visit the Museo Civico Garda and tour the Olivetti architecture. Lunch becomes an experience: typical wine, cheese and charcuterie tasting at the Balmetti d'Ivrea. In the afternoon, a walk along the historic Via Francigena.
